‘NCIS’ Star Wilmer Valderrama Gives Big Shout Out to Jimmy Kimmel After First Appearance in 10 Years

On Tuesday, Nov. 16, “NCIS” star Wilmer Valderrama appeared on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” And based on what he later shared on social media, it was a very special moment for him.

According to his Instagram post, the 41-year-old actor had not sat on the couch next to the popular comedian in 10 years. And he was thrilled to be back laughing and joking with the 54-year-old television host.

“Can’t even comprehend that 10 years have gone by since I last visited @jimmykimmellive,” Wilmer Valderrama began his social media post.

Next, the “NCIS” and “That ’70s Show” shared how Kimmel and his show during the early days of his acting career.

“I have such a special place in my heart for the show and for @jimmykimmel .. they uplifted and supported me the entire first half of my 25 year old career,” Wilmer Valderrama also shared.

His appearance on the popular late night show felt very familiar to the “NCIS” star.

“And just like riding a bike, we picked up where we left off…tonight #Kimmel on @abcnetwork…we laugh, and hard.. (slide for a Laugh Intensity exhibit),” Valderrama also posted.

The actor also shared some of the topics that he and Kimmel covered during his appearance. “We talked #Encanto and being in the delivery room with @seaweanie for my daughter’s birth! Let me know if you enjoy it!” Wilmer Valderrama also shared.

Along with his shout out to Jimmy Kimmel, “NCIS” star Wilmer Valderrama also shared three photos from his recent appearance on the late night show.

“Encanto” is a new animated film from Disney. According to IMDb, “NCIS” star Wilmer Valderrama voices the character of Agustin. The cast of the film also includes Stephanie Beatriz, Maria Cecilia Botero, John Leguizamo, Mauro Castillo, Jessica Darrow, and Angie Cepeda, among others.

How Did Wilmer Valderrama Go from ‘That 70s Show’ to His Role on ‘NCIS’?

Thanks to “That 70s Show,” Wilmer Valderrama became famous. As fans of the show are aware, he played the character of Fez in that popular comedy. That show and that role are very different from his role as Special Agent Nick Torres in “NCIS.”

So, how did Valderrama go from playing a comedic role to appearing in the popular CBS drama? Well, in the years between “That 70s Show” and “NCIS,” Valderrama had other roles. One of these was as a voice actor for the character of Manny in Disney’s “Handy Manny.” This show aired from 2006 to 2012. Also during the mid-2000s, Valderrama was the host of “Yo Momma” on MTV.

It was during 2016 that Wilmer Valderrama joined the cast of “NCIS.” The show was in its 14th season at the time. The actor has been with the show ever since.
