With NCIS star Wilmer Valderrama playing Special Agent Nick Torres, the actor believes his character has some flirtatious energy.
Valderrama offered his thoughts about the agent in a 2018 interview with Parade Magazine.
“I think that Torres is a little bit of a flirt but you can really truly see the chemistry between Ellie and Nick,” he said. “You can really see them work together well and, in this season, you’ll see a handful of instances where there’s been close calls for the team and he’s gotten so much more worried about Bishop than anybody else.”
When this interview took place, NCIS had a storyline where Torres and Bishop, played by Emily Wickersham, were interested in each other.
So, Outsiders, Wickersham is no longer on the show and Bishop has been written out of it.
But Valderrama is still there, playing Torres and getting used to an NCIS team without Leroy Jethro Gibbs. That’s the character played by longtime star Mark Harmon, who is no longer on the show.
NCIS moved from its longtime Tuesday timeslot this season to Mondays. Outsiders, catch the show on Mondays at 9 p.m. Eastern, 8 p.m. Central, on CBS.
‘NCIS’ Star Went From Being on ‘That ’70s Show’ To Role On Longtime Drama
If his name sounds familiar to you, Outsiders, then you are not alone.
Wilmer Valderrama broke onto the entertainment scene in a big way by playing Fez on That ’70s Show. His character was one of the more popular ones on the FOX sitcom.
Well, he’s now moved on to be a part of NCIS. How did his journey look to get him where he is today?
An article from Looper helps guide our look at Valderrama’s trek.
Valderrama had roles in various shows and films. Interestingly, he voiced the character of Manny on Disney’s Handy Manny from 2006-12. Valderrama hosted the MTV show Yo Momma in the mid-2000s.
The actor joined NCIS in the show’s Season 14.
Valderrama Mentions Two Pet Peeves That Will Drive Him Nuts
You have pet peeves, Outsiders. Heck, we all do and it should not come as any surprise that Valderrama has a couple.
But what, just what, would they be? See if these two also connect with you.
Valderrama tells Us Weekly, “My biggest pet peeve is when people lie. I also can’t stand it when someone chews with their mouth open.”
Despite his pet peeve, the NCIS star admitted that he’s not stingy with his trust. He’s willing to take a risk to get to know someone, even if that means they might be dishonest.
“Trusting people can be like tossing a coin. It’s a hard lesson, but I’ll flip a coin any day — I love people,” Valderrama shared.
