Some One Chicago fans might have muttered “it’s about time” under their breath when learning that Upstead finally, officially tied the knot.

There’s nothing like a solid wedding storyline to keep fans interested.

So, when Chicago P.D. aired their midseason finale in early December, the episode closed with a quick wedding ceremony

Who got hitched? Upstead. Well, that’s a hybrid name for two One Chicago fans’ favorite characters into one. We have Hailey Upton, played by Tracy Spiridakos, getting hitched to Jay Halstead, played by Jesse Lee Soffer.

Upstead…get it?

‘One Chicago’ Twitter Account Seeks Some Help From Friendly Viewers

Franchise Shows Are On Hiatus Right Now. Here Is When They Are Returning

All of your favorite One Chicago franchise shows have been sent to the land of hiatus for a bit.

If you are looking for Chicago P.D., Chicago Fire, or Chicago Med, then check out the reruns in syndication on cable TV.

New episodes popped up on Dec. 8 but that’s it for now.

Outsiders, you will have to wait until 2022 for additional new episodes to appear on NBC.

These shows are just some from the mastermind of Dick Wolf.

Does that same sound familiar? It should. Wolf is the man behind the Law & Order and FBI franchises.

His creativity has led the One Chicago creator to make a name for himself. Wolf also has done pretty good when it comes to finances.

Wolf has a net worth of $550 million.

Yet he’s truly excited about the OG Law & Order returning to the NBC primetime lineup. This was the first of many big hits for Wolf, but introduced many fans to a new show.

That show has produced spin-offs like SVU, Organized Crime, and others. Actors like Mariska Hargitay, Chris Meloni, and Ice-T have become household names because of their work. Wolf is not through creating and entertaining people. Let’s see what will happen next in his creative world.
