‘One Chicago’ Has the Perfect New Year Calendar for Fans

by Maggie Schneider

“One Chicago” is making fans swoon over its latest Twitter post. Taylor Kinney fans, this calendar is for you.

“One Chicago” fans, you may want to sit down before reading this. The NBC show is sharing with fans a 2022 calendar like no other. In a steamy Twitter post, the show features a different picture of actor Taylor Kinney for every month of the new year. Let’s just say it’s hard to look away.

Including a heart-eyes emoji, the “One Chicago” tweet claims to have “your 2022 calendar covered,” although Kinney’s chest is left uncovered in four of the pictures. Fans are swooning over Lieutenant Kelly Severide in the comments.

“There is just something about Taylor Kinney/Severide that I just can’t get enough of…..” one fan writes.

“I’d pay money for a physical copy. Why haven’t we had a firefighter/squad calendar in the shop?” another asks.

Some “One Chicago” fans are requesting calendars with more of their favorite characters. Jay Halstead and Matt Casey are among these ideas.

“That’s a pretty hot calendar. I’d prefer one with Jay Halstead tho,” @detfreckles21 tweets.

Will “One Chicago” actually print physical copies of this calendar? Nobody is really sure. Here’s to hoping that these are added to the show’s web store sometime soon.

“One Chicago” Star Taylor Kinney Loves His Role

Taylor Kinney says that he may have been a firefighter in a past life. The “One Chicago” actor respects first responders for making the sacrifices that they do to save lives. In an interview, he compares his two interests of firefighting and boxing to each other. He respects both professions immensely.

“It’s the same thing with a firefighter. I’d look at it and say, ‘I really want to do that. And I could do that.’ And then the first onslaught of an experience training, you realize how difficult it is and how much training they have,” he admitted. “So having a firsthand experience even on a minimal scale just raises your level of respect for the job and the career.”

“Chicago Fire” fans are happy to hear that Kinney renewed his contract with the show. Kinney believes that there are more stories to tell as Lieutenant Kelly Severide.

“He doesn’t spend a lot of time in the rearview, there’s always something exciting going on. There’s always something he’s working on and he loves his trade. He loves what he does for a living, that’s kind of been ingrained in him by his father Benny when he passed.”

We are excited to see how Kinney’s role progresses on the show. His passion for his job shines onscreen and off.

“I don’t think there’s a lack of stories to tell with this character. He’s a resilient guy.”
