On Thursday afternoon, longtime Wheel of Fortune host Pat Sajak was back on Twitter joking about finding a General Tso spinoff on a menu.

Sajak frequently posts amusing thoughts and other things he comes across in his daily life. He posts about baseball often as well, but is always keeping things lighthearted on his Twitter account. The guy likes to share a good laugh with his more than 285,000 fans and followers on the social media platform.

Earlier today, it looks like the game show host went out to eat for lunch. That’s where he noticed a peculiar food option on the restaurant’s menu. Typically, if you see “General Tso” listed on a menu, it’s for General Tso’s chicken. The sweet and spicy fried chicken dish is popular in Chinese restaurants across America.

However, this was not your typical General Tso’s meal that Pat Sajak came across. No, this menu item was different altogether past sharing the same name. The menu item is called General Tso’s Beef Meatballs with Udon Noodles. Obviously, the variation of the classic Chinese menu item caught Sajak off guard.

He shared a photo he took of the menu and circled the dish in question. Pat Sajak also hilariously captioned his post saying, “Nice to see the General branching out.”

Pat Sajak Loves a Good Dad Joke on Twitter

As mentioned, Pat Sajak loves a good, clean joke on Twitter. In fact, that’s basically the only type of thing he posts on his account. The game show host has no shame when it comes to his dad jokes, and we’re here for it.

For example, Sajak shared another amusing food-related post a couple of weeks ago. His dad jokes are a strong component of his brand of comedy. Additionally, he’s had plenty of time to test out his best puns and tongue-in-cheek humor on his two children over the years. So once again, he took to his favorite social media platform to announce his “meat-based vegetable idea.”

“Just applied for a patent on my line of meat-based vegetables,” Sajak wrote. “Great for keeping peace with vegan friends. The Beefagus is the most promising: USDA Prime Beef cleverly disguised as asparagus spears. The Caulifilet also shows a lot of promise, as do the Porktatoes and Turkmatoes.”

Father’s Day Dad Jokes Courtesy of Your Favorite Game Show Host

Over the summer, Wheel of Fortune‘s Twitter account gave fans a full helping of Pat Sajak’s patented dad jokes. The show enlisted his daughter Maggie Sajak to assist her dad in a funny video shot for Father’s Day. The host rattled off a couple of dad jokes as part of the show’s Father’s Day celebrations, and they’re just as wonderfully cheesy as you’d expect.

“This just in. A bus carrying prisoners back to the penitentiary has collided with a cement truck. The public has been warned to look out for hardened criminals,” Sajak said as crickets chirped in the background.

But wait, Sajak wasn’t done just yet…

“So this guy walks into a library and says, ‘I’d like to order a hamburger.’ The librarian said, ‘Sir, this is a library.’ And he said, ‘Oh, I’m sorry. I’d like to order a hamburger,’” Sajak whispered.

They’re so bad, they’re almost good.
