She and her husband, Ladd, have been together for a long, long time. They ended up meeting in Ree Drummond’s hometown of Bartlesville, Okla.
Their paths crossed in one of Bartlesville’s smoky bars. What touched her about Ladd? It was his “cowboy’s hands.”
Both had a long conversation deep into the night. Yet Ladd didn’t call Ree up for four months and ask her out.

Drummond wrote on that Instagram post, “Twenty-five years ago, Ladd and I got married. It’s been a wild adventure, and we’ve experienced the joys, pains, ups, downs, triumphs, sadnesses, and unexpected twists and turns. (And kids!)”.
She continues, “That whole ‘love’ thing—the love that deepens, expands, and becomes more firmly rooted over time—is definitely there…but if you wanna see what’s really kept me going all these years, just swipe to the last pic.
