“Pioneer Woman” Ree Drummond wished all her fans and followers a Merry Christmas earlier today with a sweet family photo.
Few parents can rope their kids into wearing matching family pajamas, but Drummond seemed to have pulled it off with no problem. Everyone, from Ree and her husband Ladd to their kids Paige, Bryce, Jamar, and Todd, wore adorable snowman pajama shirts and matching red pants. They look comfy, cozy, and totally prepared for opening presents on Christmas morning.
Unfortunately, Drummond’s oldest daughter Alex and her husband Mauricio couldn’t make it. But the “Pioneer Woman” sent them well wishes too in her Instagram post’s caption.
“Merry Christmas, friends! (We miss you, Alex and Mauricio!!)” Drummond wrote. Immediately, several of the cooking star’s friends chimed in with comments about the matching Christmas PJ’s.
“I want these pj’s!!!!!!!!” said Molly McCook, Drummond’s co-star from her first Christmas film.
Catherine McCord wrote, “Come on cuteness overload!!!”
One fan also commented, “Tell me your secret on how you got your kids to wear the Christmas pjs.” We’re all wondering the same thing.
But apparently, Christmas PJ’s are a tradition at the Drummond house. Paige, the “Pioneer Woman’s” youngest daughter, commented, “This year’s PJs are definitely top 3.”
Alex also reached out and said, “make sure Santa gets us some Jammie’s for NEXT YEAR!!”
We can’t wait to see what the Drummonds come up with for Christmas 2022.
‘Pioneer Woman’ Ree Drummond Shares Appreciation for Chef Trey
During her time as a Food Network star and chef, “Pioneer Woman” Ree Drummond has met some pretty spectacular culinary experts. She gave a shoutout to one fellow cook, Trey, in a sweet Instagram post earlier this week.
“Trey!! Not even sure where to begin. I first met him when he was a young (early twenties!) culinary graduate about ten (?) years ago,” Drummond began in her caption. “He was in and out of my work life as a freelancer during that time, then he eventually went on to be a restaurant chef and I hardly ever saw him.”
The “Pioneer Woman” continued, “I always missed him, though, as he was just one of those people who either knew exactly what to do or quickly figured it out—and he was always such a good guy to work with. Kind, fun, easy-going…and super busy/productive!”
Sounds like the perfect combination for a chef and close friend. But it gets better.
“Then, as luck would have it, our stars aligned four years ago this month and he began working for me full time. What a great day that was for me—during that time, we’ve done two cookbooks, countless video projects, big commercial shoots…oh, and there was this small matter of filming my cooking show during a pandemic,” Drummond explained.
“Trey’s old enough to be my buddy and peer, but young enough that my kids all just love him and think he’s their friend and not mine,” Drummond continued with a smiley-face emoji.
“This is a Trey appreciation post, in case you hadn’t noticed! A super guy with two adorable daughters, a gorgeous wife, and a solid soul. Don’t know what I’d do without him! I would probably watch a lot more Bravo—dude keeps me busy,” Drummond concluded. “Thank you, Trey!”
We love to see the “Pioneer Woman” supporting others around her in the culinary field. It definitely ties into the spirit of the holidays.
