We lost a good one on New Year’s Eve. The legendary actress Betty White passed away in her home early Friday morning at 99-years-old. She was just a few short weeks away from turning 100. The news of her passing was first reported by TMZ. Since her passing became public, fans and celebrities have publicly mourned the loss of the iconic actor from The Golden Girls.
Folks are remembering all of the epic moments over the years that included Betty White. One of those moments is when Betty White hosted WWE Monday Night RAW once.
ESPN tweeted about the hilarious moment on their Twitter account. The tweet read, “The legend Betty White has died at 99. We’ll never forget when she co-hosted @WWE Raw and was ready to fight everyone.” It was a hilarious moment for everyone involved. Betty White was asked by The Big Show what she planned to do that evening and she hilariously responded with, “I’m gonna kick some ***!”
Henry Winkler Mourns Betty White’s Passing
Betty White touched the lives of so many around her. She was a legend not just for the folks watching at home, but for so many folks that she also worked with. That included Happy Days‘ star, Henry Winkler. Winkler clearly thought the highest of the late actress as he took to his personal Twitter account to mourn the loss of his longtime friend.
Winkler tweeted, “Betty White : I is very hard to absorb you are not here anymore.. But the memories of your deLIGHT are ..Thank you for yur humor , your warmth and your activism ..Rest now and say Hi to Bill.”
Winkler had all kinds of memories with White and is clearly going to miss her a great deal. He is definitely taking the news of her passing very hard, as the loss of her light in the world will be greatly missed.
Betty White was not only a legend for her acting, but she was also a legend for her words. White was full of all kinds of wisdom, and it was important because she must have been doing something right for how long of a life she lived.
She once said, “I’m a health nut. My favorite food is hot dogs with French fries. And my exercise: I have a two-story house and a very bad memory, so I’m up and down those stairs.” She didn’t take life too seriously and made sure to have fun. Still, when one wonders about the secret to life, Betty White may have had the answer with the importance in having fun, practicing gratitude, and working hard.
