Ron and Cheryl Howard posed took a “Day Off” lunch in London on Sunday.

The couple posed for a selfie outside a Prezzo Italian restaurant. There’s no way of telling what city the Howards were in, however. The restaurant chain has 152 locations in the United Kingdom, with more than 20 in the London area.

One Instagram commenter tried to schmooze the couple, saying, “You both look like you are in your 30s!”

The couple was married in 1975 and had four children, including actress Bryce Dallas Howard.

Brothers’ Book Soon

On Oct. 12, the 67-year old Howard and his brother, Clint, will publish a joint memoir. “The Boys: A Memoir of Hollywood and Family” tells the story of the Howard brothers.

The director tweeted about signed copies of the book.

Several fans responded that they were canceling their orders and reordering the signed copies.

The men talk about their upbringing by actor dad Rance and actress mom Jean Howard. The parents uprooted the family from Oklahoma, took Ron to Hollywood in 1958. Clint was born a year later.

According to The Chicago Tribune, the men will be at the Chicago Humanities Festival on Oct. 13 to promote the book.

Currently, Ron Howard is hard at work on wrapping up “Thirteen Lives.” Ron Howard directs a film about the Thailand cave rescue of a soccer team and their coach. IMDb has three Ron Howard movies (Seveneves, The Fixer, and The Girl Before) in the works after finishing an untitled documentary on Chef Jose Andres and his World Central Kitchen project.

Howard Movie Returning To Theater

In early September, Howard revealed he was bringing back his film “Backdraft” to theaters.

The movie, however, was only coming back for a week. With Howard’s Twitter announcement, he gave fans a look into the behind-the-scenes work for the film.

“Before CGI fire was possible, we made Backdraft,” Ron Howard wrote. “In-camera, with actors and stunt people and sets on fire.”

The film featured Kurt Russell and Robert De Niro. According to the Hollywood Reporter, the film broke a Memorial Day weekend ticket record and grossed $77.9 million in the United States.

Daughter Behind Camera

This past week, Disney Studies announced that the couple’s daughter will direct for an updated version of a 1986 classic film “Flight of The Navigator.”

Bryce Dallas Howard, who has acted in several films, will go behind the camera for the remake.

Deadline reported that this version would have a female lead this time around. The original version was about a boy who traveled eight years into the future on a ship. The ship was an intelligent alien ship named Max and voiced by Pee Wee Herman star Paul Reubens.

The Paramount film grossed $18.6 million domestically when it was released.

The 40-year-old actress’s next film is Jurassic World: Dominion, which opens on June 10, 2022.
