Ryan Seacrest’s Return to ‘Live’ and ‘American Idol’ After Taking Time Off Has Fans Concerned

by Madison Miller

Fans have growing concern over the wellbeing of Ryan Seacrest.

Seacrest is known for his many different hosting jobs. He is the host of the popular singing competition show, “American Idol.” He first started that gig back in 2002. He’s also the face of “Live with Kelly and Ryan,” “American Top 40,” and “On Air with Ryan Seacrest.” He also always makes an appearance during “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve.” He is the co-host and executive producer of the popular Times Square celebration.

Ryan Seacrest Returns from Leave

Clearly, Ryan Seacrest has a lot on his plate. Recently, he missed several episodes of his talk show. His team at work had apparently staged an intervention. According to Us Magazine, sources claim that Seacrest is exhausted from his very busy schedule. “His team was so concerned they staged an intervention. Ryan’s in bad [shape],” the source said.

During part of September, Kelly Ripa’s husband Mark Consuelos filled in on “Live with Kelly and Ryan.”

Although there was an intervention, sources are saying Ryan Seacrest is fine and fans have nothing to worry about. This seems to be the case, seeing as Seacrest also recently shared an image working on the set of “American Idol.” The photo features himself alongside Katy Perry, Luke Bryan, and Lionel Richie.

He captioned the image, “The official kick off to our historic 20th season! So glad to be back with this team #AmericanIdol.”

Ryan Seacrest’s busy schedule often has him rushing between different obligations. While Seacrest seems happy to be 100% back to work, some of his fans are wishing he’d taken more time to rest. One person commented on the photo, “Slow down Ryan! Your health is your wealth.”

Others just gushed over getting to see Ryan Seacrest once again. An excited fan wrote “the gang is back together!” after seeing the “American Idol” image.

Seacrest Extremely Busy Schedule

According to The Sun, Seacrest is often referred to as the “hardest working person in Hollywood.” His loved ones got concerned after the popular host has gone about 20 years with very minimal breaks.

“There was always a fear he would completely overwork himself. He’s been go-go-go for 20 years now and he is almost 50 … We thought he would have slowed down and settled down by now. But that hasn’t been the case. He’s only gotten busier so everyone is worried about him and has been for years,” a source told the news outlet.

The source also said that he often doesn’t even sit down to eat a meal because he’s so busy. Instead, he’ll just drink a green juice quickly for some nutrients. He has drivers that take him everywhere because he uses that time to work away in the backseat.
