‘SEAL Team’ Star Max Thieriot Thinks He’s the Biggest Prankster on the Set

Sometimes, what happens behind the scenes of SEAL Team is just as entertaining as the show itself. And that’s thanks to star Max Thieriot.

As Thieriot shared with Daily Caller, he and his castmates have become a family since the series debuted in 2017. And everyone has a lot of fun when the cameras aren’t rolling. Over the years, the actors have bonded over their shared sense of humor. And jokes run rampant on the set.

Which led Max Thieriot to become a prankster—and he’s definitely the biggest SEAL Team prankster of all.

“Yeah, I’m the biggest prankster on set,” the actor gloated. “As you can see on my Instagram.”

Thieriot’s favorite target is Sonny Quinn’s A.J. Buckley because the two are best friends. And A.J. is easy to fool.

“I’m always around him,” he added. “So he makes it easy and fun to pick on [him].”

The reason the pranks started was that it’s not always fun and games for the SEAL Team stars. A lot of days, the actors are “out there running in the hills and shooting late nights and stacking up on doors to breach.” And sometimes, the show’s content is “really serious and emotional.”

So everyone needed to find ways to keep spirits high in between takes.

“We keep it as light as we possibly can,” admitted Thieriot. “And [we] joke around.”

‘SEAL Team’ Actor David Boreanaz Once had an Interesting Run-in With Mick Jagger

It doesn’t matter how famous you are, meeting The Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger is always something to brag about.

And for SEAL Team star David Boreanaz, his run-in with the singer was particularly interesting.

As he shared on The Late Late Show with James Corden, Boreanaz met the legendary singer at an awards ceremony afterparty when he was brand new to stardom.

“Nobody really knows how to talk to each other at these events,” he said. “I was making my way through, and I saw Mick Jagger corner left in a booth with his crew. So I’m figuring, I’m going to have a ‘Mick Jagger, how are you’ good moment.”

But as he approached Jagger, the singer made an unusual move.

“I get about three feet and he just does this whole ‘Rawwrrrrr!’ and I’m like ‘whoa!’ he continued. “Mick Jagger was like growling at me. I caught eyes and he looked at me and was just like ‘rawrrr’ and I was like ‘okay, I’m not coming towards your den, I’m passing.’ That was Mick Jagger, you just kind of keep rolling.”

James Corden suggested that Boreanaz should have “doubled down” and growled back. But the actor laughed and said he lost his courage to say hello.
