Law, who plays Jess Knight, the former college track star turned NCIS agent, showed off her moves with Dietzen in a video clip she posted to Instagram. Who knows. Maybe ABC’s Dancing with the Stars will extend an offer.
She captioned the clip: “Ahhh the glamour of Hollywood. The dancing, the trash, the amazing camera work by James Troost.”
Take a look. Meanwhile, we’re all wondering if NCIS is incorporating a dance scene in a future episode. Or maybe there’s a dead body dumped in the garbage.
NCIS fans, we’ve got some bad news for you, but it’ll get better, soon. We promise. There wasn’t a new episode this past Monday. And there won’t be one again next Monday. However, circle Nov. 29. NCIS returns with a new episode called “Peacekeeper.” The CBS synopsis: “NCIS investigates the case of a Navy reservist whose body is found in a beat-up car at the end of a gun range. Also, Kasie weighs the pros and cons of buying a gun.”
During the lull between episodes, CBS also shared some nifty NCIS viewership trivia. The show premiered in 2003. The network said that since then, viewers have watched more than 3.8 trillion minutes of the crime drama and its spinoffs. Yes, that’s trillions with a T. And it counts time spent watching NCIS on all platforms — broadcast, cable, streaming and syndication.
Katrina Law Becoming Full-Time Cast Member
NCIS show runners promoted Law to full-time cast this summer. So audiences are gradually getting to know Jess. She’s been paired with Torres (Wilmer Valderrama) who is trying to get over the exit of his love interest Ellie Bishop (Emily Wickersham). Law, as Jess, showed up on NCIS late in season 18. At the time, fans weren’t clear who was leaving the cast. Wickersham did so after the season 18 finale.
So what did Law do before she morphed into Jess Knight? Well, she starred in a Hallmark holiday movie, Christmas with the Darlings. In fact, it was her third movie for Hallmark, which turned holiday movies into must-see viewing.
Law’s sister-in-law, Tracy Andreen, wrote two of the movies. “I personally love my sister-in-law regardless of whether I was related to her or not,” Law told TV Insider in November, 2020. “I think she’s brilliant, I think she’s talented, and I think she writes really fun, creative, heartwarming, funny stories. And to be part of it and to know she trusted me with her second movie was an honor. And to know Hallmark trusted me with a third movie was even more of an honor.”
Law also starred in the Twelve Gifts of Christmas and Snow Bride. So if you’re a fan of NCIS and Christmas movies (and who isn’t?), check to see if any of these Law movies are in the holiday rotation.
