Survivor 41 saw a shocking elimination at the hands of Ricard. So what’s his next move?

Ricard has been at the forefront of a lot of these episodes since the season began. Scheming his way through with his buddy Shan, Ricard and Shan managed to get to the final 8 together. But here’s the thing. Both of them knew they’d have to take the other out at some point. They even talked about it.

Neither of them wanted to sit next to each other in the final two. And it looks like, once Ricard won immunity last episode and was sitting on some very big information, he knew exactly what he needed to do with it.

He managed to convince a good majority of the others to vote out Shan, but kept her in the dark about it enough that she didn’t use her immunity idol. With the help of Erica, who orchestrated the plan to split the votes between Liana and Shan and then re-vote, Ricard and the others sent shan packing.

But what is Ricard’s next move now that his closest ally (and, arguably, his biggest foe) is out of the game?

What Ricard Could Do Next on ‘Survivor’

So, Ricard is in the final 7, a key part of the game. This is the time of the game where you can form new alliances, and make deals to secure your position in the final 2. Ricard needs to really act strategically to figure out who he should work with going forward.

His blindside of Shan is a massive move, but it’s also one that paints a huge target on his back. In the preview, we see Xander coming to Ricard and saying that almost everyone has his name in their mouth as the person to go home next.

He could try and find a way to win his way to the end. Additionally, he could also align himself with someone like Xander, who doesn’t have anyone else in the game either. He could try and convince people to take out other players who proved themselves to be quite formidable last week like Erica or DeShawn.

He has a VERY uphill battle, but the curtains certainly aren’t closed for him. And with a move like that last night on top of his gaming throughout the whole season, he’s definitely someone a lot of fans would like to see stick around.
