Would it surprise you if SWAT star Shemar Moore is all set for some more action in the show’s upcoming episode? He’s all set.

Moore, who plays Daniel “Hondo” Henderson on the CBS drama, shared these photos on Instagram.

He’s ready for that Sunday night show. Let’s check out these snaps, Outsiders.

Obviously, Moore did not hold back on sharing these pictures.

Our man Hondo has been through some things this season. You might recall that he started out in Mexico, but now has returned to the City of Angels.

That would be Los Angeles, SWAT fans.

By the way, did you know that show moved into a new timeslot? Catch it on Sunday nights at 10 p.m. Eastern, 9 p.m. Central, on CBS.

Ratings from last week’s show in the new timeslot were not good. In fact, they were the lowest for the show this season.

Mind you, SWAT had been on Friday nights which, well, is not an award-winning TV night itself. Still, the show was doing much better at that time.

Will it improve in the Sunday timeslot? Well, fans sure hope so. With Moore at the helm, though, SWAT provides a solid hour of action and drama.

‘SWAT’ Had Fall Finale Directed Bye Actor Alex Russell in December

Talk about an amazing opportunity! SWAT star Alex Russell went behind the camera for a recent episode.

Well, he directed the intense fall finale.

Now, this was called Safe House. The synopsis of the episode is brief yet shocking: “When an undocumented woman is violently abducted, the team forms an unlikely alliance to try and bring her home alive.”

This could almost come out of modern-day headlines in the news, too.

Russell made sure all the shots in the episode were solid and good before it aired on CBS.

Will he get another chance to direct? We don’t know at this point but shows who let actors direct are wont to let them do it again if it turns out OK.

All signs point to another chance for Russell down the road.

“Directing this episode was a dream come true for me,” Russell writes on Instagram. “A dream!”

Fans shared their reactions on social media. Using many thumbs up and fire emojis, the consensus is positive.

“I hope you direct more episodes soon,” one fan writes. “you did an incredible job directing the last episode!” says another.

Oh boy, the comments are solid so far.

By god, this one might take the cake.

One fan writes, “There is a new director in Hollywood whose name will be remembered for a long time to come and that’s Alex Russell!!”
