Friday, December 10 marks the drama’s mid-season finale at it’s current time slot 8/7c. Then the next season will start on January 2, 2022 at 10/9c. Actor Jay Harrington, Deacon enlists Chris’ help on an off-duty mission. Here they must fight to survive the attack by a drug cartel searching for their wealthy VIP client.

There is a slight problem with the show airing on Sunday night, the one-off schedule in the beginning of the year. Football and award shows requires CBS to take off weeks from airing new episodes. Keep an eye out!

What is “SWAT” About?

“SWAT” follows a locally born and bred sergeant and his team of highly-trained professionals as they solve crimes in Los Angeles, California. This is one of the most unusual shows in history created by Shawn Ryan and Aaron Rahsaan Thomas.

It first aired in the mid-1970’s as an action drama about a special weapons and skillset team. The main characters of the show are Shemar Moore, Alex Russell and Lina Esco.

The theme song was a hit. It was produced by composer, Barry De Vorzon’s. He did not expect his theme song to become a top 10 hit on the radio. Dreams really do come true! You can relive this jam right here.
