‘The Brady Bunch’: Maureen McCormick Captures Deer as She Gushes About Holiday Season

by Matthew Memrick

Maureen McCormick caught some of deer on video, and the “Brady Bunch” star gushed about how much she loved the holiday season in an Instagram video.

The 65-year-old actress put some inspirational music in the background of a video where three deer stroll up near the wall of her California home. In the video’s final seconds, one deer makes a graceful leap over the fence.

McCormick captions the video with the words, “I love this time of year so much! Happy December. Let the magic begin.”

McCormick’s deer trio seems plentiful in part of California in urban and rural settings. According to the Los Angeles Times, reindeer can travel far from their comfort zones at California farms. Those deer may be the closest thing to a reindeer the actress will get to see. The L.A. Zoo and Botanical Garden hosted four reindeer in 2017 and 2018.

The “Brady Bunch” star is a big Christmas fan, and she’s been showing it lately. On Wednesday, the actress who played Marcia Brady posted a neat-looking photo of her tree decoration. She caught a glimpse of herself in a red Christmas bulb while wishing her fans Happy December and sending them lots of love.

“Brady Bunch” Star In Upcoming Lifetime Christmas Movie

McCormick and some of her fellow “Brady Bunch” co-stars will be in an upcoming Lifetime Christmas movie called “Blending Christmas.”

The network will air it as a part of the ‘It’s a Wonderful Lifetime Christmas’ bundle.

According to People magazine, actress Haylie Duff’s spin on a Christmas rom-com is unique with the legendary T.V. show stars. Telma Hopkins, Kimberly Elize, Beth Broderick, and Greg Evigan also star.

The story’s plot is about a girl who brings her boyfriend home to her family – which happen to be played by original “Brady Bunch” cast members Barry Williams, Christopher Knight, Mike Lookinland, Susan Olsen, and cousin Robbie Rist. Since it’s Christmas, there may be a wedding proposal mixed in with some holiday bickering, but you know that wholesome, happy good ending will be there too.

In a teaser for the new movie, the trailer opens with “Will a Bunch ruin this romantic holiday getaway… of unexpected guests?” Pretty clever, huh?

Actress Marla Sokoloff directs the T.V. movie. It premieres on Dec. 12 at 8 p.m. Eastern on Lifetime.

AARP Loves Christmas Brady Bunch Movie

The senior organization recently compiled their list of Top 10 Christmas Movies on streaming service provider Hulu and McCormick’s “A Very Brady Christmas” rounded out the list.

The reviewer gave the 1988 film 3 Santas out of 5. Also, when asked if the film was naughty or nice, they gave it a “Nicety nice” rating.

All the adults, mom Florence Henderson, dad Robert Reid, and housekeeper Ann B. Davis are there too!
