Was “The Brady Bunch” one of your favorite shows back then? Well, actress Maureen McCormick takes a step back into the past as she looks at an old clip of her first acting job. She has came a long way from then.

Her first acting debut was the fourth production at the La Jolla Playhouse. She added her co-stars in the tweet, as she thanked her mom for saving all of the old newspaper clippings.

In the hit TV series, Maureen McCormick played Marcia Brady. It aired on television for five seasons from 1969 to 1974. The cast members became a little family during that time.

Maureen McCormick Background

It wasn’t long until Maureen McCormick’s acting career took off. Her role in The Brady Bunch helped her reach her dreams of becoming a star. Unfortunately, when the show ended she fought a hard battle with drug addiction. She eventually overcame her addictions with a lot of support from her family and friends.

This is not an uncommon problem among famous people. Many other stars have struggled with this, such as Demi Lovato.

From an early age, this actress knew she loved the spotlight. She always enjoyed singing and dancing growing up. Her favorite activity was performing puppet shows for other children in the neighborhood. Her fairytale to stardom came true when she won the Baby Miss Fernando Valley contest at only 6 years old. Later that year, she received a call from a Pat Domigan, a casting agent who asked if she was interested in becoming an actress.

Her first acting gig came to be at the La Jolla Playhouse, which is what she is currently celebrating. Her journey has sparked an image of a successful woman and so many aspiring actors look up to her.
