Hope Juber has stayed close with The Brady Bunch cast even after decades have passed since the show has graced our televisons.

Juber may not have been a main character in the beloved show but she is the daughter of the show’s creator, Sherwood Schwartz. Not only that, but she played a number of other important roles as well. Hope Juber is well known as an actress and as a writer. She is particularly known for her work in The Munsters Today, The Brady Brides, and The Brady Bunch 35th Anniversary Reunion Special: Still Brady After All These Years.

With all of that in mind, it goes without saying that Juber has made a lot of friends during her time in the television industry. Naturally, some of her closest friends ended up being members of The Brady Bunch cast. As a matter of fact, it turns out that she is still close with the cast of the show. She explained as much in a 2016 interview with MeTV.

“We did the usual teenage girl things, hanging out at each other’s houses, trips to Disneyland, sleepovers, etc.,” Juber said at the time.

Hope Juber Involved in Teenage Drama in an Episode of ‘The Brady Bunch’

Speaking of sleepovers, all of you Brady Bunch fans out there may recall when Marcia and the girls hosted their very first slumber party. That happened in Season 2, Episode 3 of the show. However, what ends up happening is that Mrs. Denton, one of Marcia’s teachers, finds a note in her desk that includes a drawing with the caption, “Mrs. Denton or hippopotamus”.

Marcia pleads that she did not write the note, but she ends up getting at trouble in school anyway. Because of that whole fiasco, her parents put an end to the slumber party. In the end, she was convinced that her best friend Jenny was the one who wrote the note and put it in her desk. So, she uninvites her to the slumber party.

Can you guess who was the friend that played Jenny in the show? If you guessed Hope Juber, you would be correct.

“That is one reason why it was always funny to me that in [the season two episode] ‘The Slumber Caper,'” she said. “I was the one Marcia uninvited to the slumber party.”

Nowadays, Juber resides in the Los Angeles area with her husband, Laurence Juber. The two got married back on March 21, 1982. Laurence is a former guitarist for Paul McCartney & Wings. The couple also shares two children together in Nico and Ilsey Juber.
