It may only be one week into November, but “The Voice” coach Kelly Clarkson is already getting into the holiday spirit.

Kelly Clarkson Holiday Special

One of these guests includes her fellow co-star on “The Voice” Ariana Grande. Also dropping by are Melissa McCarthy, Jay Leno, Leslie Odom Jr., Amy Poehler, and even the man of the hour himself, Santa Claus.

In order to tap into that holiday spirit, Clarkson is also inviting along some everyday people for some life-changing moments. This includes meeting famous celebrities and even getting some gifts that could make a massive difference in their lives.

“People celebrate the holidays in different ways and that is the inspiration behind the original songs and the curated classics that are featured in this special. No matter what your heart is feeling this holiday season, I hope that this hour brings you joy and happiness exactly where you are,” Clarkson said in a statement, according to People.

When it comes to music on the program, Clarkson will be sure to deliver. The special will include a festive mix of classic holiday songs all from Clarkson’s album “When Christmas Comes Around…”

This is the brand new album that “The Voice” coach released on October 15 through Atlantic Records. It is her ninth studio album and features covers of Christmas songs and some original tunes. She has co-penned or duets with artists like Ariana Grande, Brett Eldredge, and Chris Stapleton.

The lead single on the album is the popular tune, “Christmas Isn’t Canceled (Just You).” She sings “Santa Can’t You Hear Me” with Grande and “Glow” with Stapleton.

Also expect to hear Clarkson’s powerful ballad from the album, “Merry Christmas (to the One I Used to Know),” during the TV special.

Clarkson is announcing this special about a month before it will air. “Kelly Clarkson Presents: When Christmas Comes Around” on Wednesday, December 1 on NBC.

‘The Voice’ Clarkson and Grande Relationship

Despite only having started working together for this season of “The Voice,” Ariana Grande and Kelly Clarkson seem to be getting along very well.

“The Voice” coaches just collaborated for the new duet on Clarkson’s Christmas album. Before that happened, Clarkson gushed over how much she liked the popular pop singer.

“I love her. We had run into each other a couple of times before but not really been able to talk. She’s so funny … like very witty,” Clarkson said during an appearance on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.”

She said she’s never gotten to work with a coach quite like Grande in her eight seasons on “The Voice” so far.
