‘The Voice’ Star Kelly Clarkson Has Her Favorite Interview ‘So Far’ with Sandra Bullock

by Kati Michelle

Fans of “The Voice” are prepping for a huge week ahead of them now that the show has narrowed down its talent to the Final 5. Carrie Underwood and John Legend are teaming up to perform at the finale, where Kelly Clarkson’s bids will have to face off against the others. Team Blake’s Wendy Moten continues to put up an especially good fight given the injuries she sustained earlier in the season. But although she loves “The Voice,” superstar Kelly Clarkson fills her downtime with other projects, too. One of these projects involves her informal talk show.

Aptly named “The Kelly Clarkson Show,” a recent guest just left some pretty big shoes to fill. Kelly says her interview with Sandra Bullock might just be “her favorite interview so far.” You can catch their escapade of giggles below.

‘The Voice’ Star Calls Hanging Out With Sandra Bullock ‘Like Hanging With That Friend You’ve Had for 20 Years’

Let’s be honest. When it comes to introductions, Sandra Bullock doesn’t really need one. The showbiz legend celebrated her 57th birthday earlier this year and probably stars in one of your favorite comedies, or two, or three… Her interview with Kelly Clarkson is probably a pretty good indicator of why.

You can check it out here:

During the course of the interview, Sandra Bullock and the “Voice” coach segway from DJ’ing to Freudian slips, barely keeping it together. At the end of the day, it’s a little chaotic, but so what? That’s what makes it so endearing. It really is like watching two friends who have known each other their whole lives. You can tell by the way they laugh with their whole bodies. We’re talking keeled over, full-on belly laughs here. They’re the best kind if you ask me.

Sandra Bullock Teases Kelly Clarkson About Her Time on ‘American Idol’

“American Idol” has changed a lot of lives over the course of its 19 seasons. That’s especially true for Kelly Clarkson. The star rose to fame after winning the show’s first season back in 2002. The win came with an RCA record deal and she officially released her debut single, “A Moment Like This,” shortly thereafter. The song went on to top the US Billboard Hot 100 list and become the country’s best-selling single of the same year.

In the same interview as above, Sandra Bullock teased the star about her time on the show playing coy about who she voted for during the finale. At one point she then reveals “and that’s why I didn’t vote for you on ‘American Idol.'”

It’s all in the name of good fun, though, and you can catch that segment here:
