Since Season 21 of “The Voice” has wrapped up, the singing competition is taking a look back at Hailey Mia’s first impression.

The audition round of “The Voice” is probably my favorite part of the show. It’s when the contestant’s introductions are made. First impressions are everything, and can be remembered for years to come. Season 21’s Hailey Mia made a great impression during her blind audition.

In a new Twitter post, “The Voice” is looking back on the 13-year old’s performance of “you broke me first” by Tate McRae. Watch the clip below.

Hailey Mia’s vocals are incredibly strong and mature for her age. Her performance is also very confident. Kelly Clarkson and Ariana Grande both turn their chairs before the end of Mia’s performance. The singer first decides to join Team Ariana, but is later stolen by Team Kelly. Making history as the youngest singer to ever compete on “The Voice,” Hailey Mia makes it to fourth place on the show.

Hailey Mia Looks Back On Her Journey

In an exclusive interview with PEOPLE, Hailey Mia looks back on her time on “The Voice” fondly. She believes that being a contestant on the show gave her more self-confidence. She has learned the lesson to stay true to who she is.

“I feel like that’s being me at all times and staying confident in myself and staying present and staying motivated,” Mia says. “I’ve learned how to really trust myself and be proud of myself and have confidence in myself. Without this experience, I wouldn’t have that. So I’m incredibly grateful for it.”

In an Instagram post towards the end of the season, Mia thanked her fans for supporting her throughout the entire journey. She says that “this is just the beginning.”

“what a journey. im so grateful for each and every one of you. im so beyond exited to share my music with the world. this is just the beginning. -love, hailey”

According to NBC, Season 21 of “The Voice” received 8.16 million views, becoming its most-watched reality show. While NBC has not confirmed a 22nd season of “The Voice,” these numbers are making fans hopeful for its return. An announcement for a spring season of the show should arrive soon if it is on the way.

“Sunday Night Football” was NBC’s top-rated program of 2021, earning 17.72 million viewers. “Chicago Fire,” “Law & Order: SVU,” and “New Amsterdam,” follow behind. You can check out the full list here.
