The Discovery show follows family-run mining operations and their tireless efforts to locate one of the world’s most precious commodities. Because “there’s gold from here to eternity,” series star Parker Schnabel once said. And all the cast members have to do is find it.
The show takes place primarily in the Klondike region of Dawson City, Yukon, Canada, and also in Alaska. Over the course of 12 seasons (so far), the series has chronicled the wild stories of miners like Schnabel, Tony Beets, and Rick Ness.
