If you have been asking, Outsiders, when Walker would be returning, then we have you covered as a new midseason date is out.

According to information provided by TV Line, The CW moved up that date to Thursday, Jan. 13, at 8 p.m. Eastern, 7 p.m. Central.

The show’s IMDb listing states this synopsis: “A widowed father returns to Austin after one year, attempting to reconnect with his children, navigate clashes with his family, and find common ground with his new partner, while growing increasingly suspicious of his wife’s death.”

Walker is a reimagining of the old-school Walker, Texas Ranger series that starred Chuck Norris.

Jared Padalecki stars as Cordell Walker, while Lindsey Morgan plays Micki Ramirez. Other cast members include Molly Hagen, Keegan Allen, Violet Brinson, Kale Culley, and Coby Bell.

‘Walker’ Actress Is Leaving At Some Point During Season 2 But Not Sure Exactly When

There is no doubt that Walker has developed a following on The CW. Actress Lindsey Morgan has had a pretty solid run since the second season kicked off.

Her Micki character has been trying to get settled back into normal life. She is back after a pretty deep undercover assignment.

Then life comes at her hard when someone close to her dies. It brings back a lot of feelings that Micki has been dealing with in her time on the series. They have been a struggle for her at times, too.

For Micki, the struggle becomes real at home and work. So, is Morgan about to leave the show?

It was revealed this fall that she is leaving.

Morgan Is Citing ‘Personal Reasons’ For Leaving The CW Drama

A recent synopsis of Thursday night’s midseason finale reads that Micki is starting a “new chapter.”

In Douglas Fir, Micki comes clean to Trey, played by Jeff Pierre, about her complicated past. Now they start questioning their future as a couple along with what it means for them going forward.

Morgan didn’t give a reason for leaving other than citing “personal reasons” for her choice to exit the show. While this might be understandable to some, it would be a sad way to say goodbye to Micki. But compared to killing a character off, this might be a better choice.

Elsewhere, Jared Padalecki’s Walker and Keegan Allen’s Liam agree to put their differences aside. Both agree to trust each other when Denise, played by Amara Zaragoza, asks them to investigate a case.

Meanwhile, Bonham, played by Mitch Pileggi, dresses as Santa Claus and makes the annual holiday party even a little more festive.

Make sure you dial into The CW and catch Walker as the show will be coming back after the break.
