The midseason finale of Walker means that Lindsey Morgan and her character Micki Ramirez have made their exits from the show.
So, there are still questions around the character. This wasn’t exactly planned. Morgan left the show due to personal reasons. The executive producers, her costars, and showrunner have all expressed their support.
Fans want to know about the future of the character. The Walker star has been a mainstay on The CW network for a long time. She has spent many seasons on The 100 and was set to begin another tenure on this show. However, that will be put on hold… for now.
Morgan spoke with Entertainment Weekly about possibly coming back to the show in the future. Fans should be excited.
“One-hundred percent. No questions asked,” she said. “Me leaving was one of the hardest decisions I’ve ever had to make in my life and it’s really interesting because my life can parallel Micki’s a lot, and this was kind of a similar instance.”
While she wants to make her return, there are things that she has to work through in her life before she feels comfortable making her return.
Lindsey Morgan Wants to Focus on Herself
The thing that Morgan wants to do before thinking about returning to the show, is work on herself. There’s a lot of talk about self-care and mental health nowadays. It is important to step away if things are getting to be too much.
The Walker actress talked about working on her health in all aspects.
“I really need to take the time to take care of myself and my well-being physically and emotionally and mentally, and reevaluate how I got to where I am and make some changes. My life had been so much about my career, I had not cared for myself enough during my 20s. All of that work and running and ambition, it caught up to me and now I’m facing a lot of burnout.”
Hopefully, if and when she does make her return to the show, Morgan is able to come back with the fire and passion she needs to put on a great performance. The midseason finale left fans wondering a lot about the future of the show.
‘Walker’ Mid Season Finale
It is December and that means finale season. Ahead of the holidays, shows put out their final episodes for the short winter break. That includes Walker. The show was able to leave on a note that is bound to have fans excited about the return of the show.
One of the questions that fans are going to have for the next month is going to be about Liam. He saw some evidence out in the open of the Davison’s truck. However, he didn’t bring it up to Cordell. What is going on with Liam and is he going to be able to help Walker?
