Watch ‘The Voice’ Contestant Ryleigh Plank Sing Fleetwood Mac’s ‘Rhiannon’

by Jonathan Howard

These episodes of The Voice keep getting better. Now, with the top-13 competing, the performances are getting more intense. The latest comes from Ryleigh Plank who took on a Fleetwood Mac song, Rhiannon.

The Team Ariana singer chose a popular, but not an obvious song from Fleetwood Mac. There are more cliche choices, but this one was perfect. She has the style, the look, and the sound for the genre. She is able to take her strong voice from one level and shoot up to the top of her range with one note. Not to mention her vibrato is something not everyone can pull off.

Listen to Plank rock the stage as she tries to move on to the next stage.

The Voice competition is heating up. Her performance might get her to the next stage of the show. If she makes it past the top-13 then Team Ariana is one step closer to putting someone into the final. Of course, as the song ended, Plank received quite the ovation from the crowd. Her coach got up on her feet to applaud her singer. The first-year coach is hoping to perform well as a rookie.

While the performance seemed to get a good reception from the live crowd. It will just depend on how the fans at home took the performance. Of course, it also depends on how her fellow competitors do on stage. Ariana used a save to get Plank to the top-13 but it could be all for naught if the fans don’t like her performance.

This is the second week of live performances on The Voice and the coaches are very excited. Also in the top-13 from Team Ariana is father-son duo of Jim and Sasha Allen. The two have performed very well to this point.

‘The Voice’ Top-13 Performances

So with The Voice weeding through the rest of the field, fans are going to have a lot of hard decisions to make. As we mentioned before, Team Ariana has Plank and Jim and Sasha in the second week of live shows. She will try to get them both to the next week in the competition. Holly Forbes is the third member of Team Ariana in the top-13.

Team Blake has Wendy Moten as well as Paris Winingham and Lana Scott. Scott is a country singer that Shelton is very big on. However, he openly admitted that Moten is his favorite ever and he wants her to win more than anyone else.

To round out The Voice top-13 round, we have Team Legend featuring Jershika Maple and Joshua Vacanti. Team Kelly is putting up a trio, Girl Named Tom. The other performers are going to be Gymani and Jeremy Rosado. Tough decisions are ahead for those that vote on The Voice.
