On tonight’s episode of Wheel of Fortune, one of the contestants pulled an amazing win out of thin air. We’d say that if you ranked all the epic wins in game show history, this one would be right at the top.
A player on Wheel of Fortune named Michael headed to the final bonus puzzle with only three letters on the board. And after he guessed his three constants and one vowel, Micheal didn’t add a single one to the board.
So he was left standing in front of an 11 letter phrase that looked absolutely hopeless. But somehow the Wheel of Fortune wizard ended up solving the puzzle! It was so impressive that the series added the clip to its official Twitter Page. Check it out and be in awe.
“AMAZING SOLVE ALERT!” they captioned alongside the jaw-dropping video. “Are you FLIPPING OUT?! Cause we definitely are!”
The clue was “What are you doing?” and Michael’s first two guesses were “sleeping out” and “sleeping cot.” Then right before the buzzer cut him off, he yelled “flipping out!”
As soon as the words came out of Michael’s mouth, Pat said, “yeah, that’s it” in the most deadpan voice. He was utterly shocked that Michael pulled off the win. And by doing so, he won a brand new Mazda CX-5.
“I don’t understand this game. It makes no sense. There’s no way he could’ve gotten that, and now he has a brand new car. It’s just crazy.”
Vanna White Made Her ‘Wheel of Fortune’ Co-Host a Quit 30 years Ago and Pat Sajak “Treasures it”
Vanna White and Pat Sajak have been working together on Wheel of Fortune for nearly 40 years. And during that time, they’ve because great friends. So it’s no surprise that they celebrate holidays together and give each other gifts. But during an outro segment last week Vana caught her co-host off guard when she brought up a quilt she made Pat three decades ago.
“Speaking of heavy quilts, do you still have the one I crocheted for you?” she asked accusingly. Pat was clearly taken aback by the question as he admitted that he’d forgotten about the kind gesture.
“I bet that’s 30 years ago,” he sputtered. “Well, it’s probably not a heavy quilt anymore. It’s just a bunch of threads.”
Pat Sajak didn’t try to make excuses, he just admitted that he doesn’t know where it is. But he guessed it was being stored in a nice box.
“I know we have it,” he said. “I know because we treasure it. We have it in a little box marked ‘treasures,'”
