‘Wheel of Fortune’ Host Pat Sajak ‘Should Have Dressed Warmer’ in Hilarious Photo

by Allison Hambrick

“Wheel of Fortune” host Pat Sajak is feeling chilly in a new photo he shared to his Twitter feed. The television icon is bundled up and surrounded by confetti in front of a festive background.

As a play on the white confetti resembling snow, the Wheel of Fortune hose captioned the photo “I should have dressed warmer.” Sajak is a frequent poster–the television host enjoys interacting with fans on the social media platform. His posts often draw on “dad humor.”

For example, earlier this month, the television host tweeted: “A Christmas Message to my fellow Californians: if you plan to steal merchandise, please keep it under $950. This way, it’s a misdemeanor, and you’ll be less likely to be prosecuted. More importantly, there will be more left for others to steal. Remember, Christmas is for sharing.”

Additionally, the Wheel of Fortune host occasionally shares sentimental tweets as well. On Christmas Eve, Sajak revealed that he is celebrating several achievements. Like many of us, the week after Christmas is also a big one for Sajak.

“What a week!” tweeted Sajak. “Dec 25…Christmas Day. Dec 28…40th anniversary of my first “Wheel” on NBC daytime. Dec 31…32nd wedding anniversary. Jan 1…2022 begins. And it almost has to be better than 2021, doesn’t it? Well, doesn’t it?”

While there is a hint of pessimism, the Wheel of Fortune host’s tweet focuses more on the good.

Wheel of Fortune Host Shares 2022 Resolution

In addition, Sajak shared his resolution for the new year. The Wheel of Fortune host brought his trademark sense of humor. While some of us may want to get into shape or quit drinking, he has a different idea entirely.

“You’re never too old to make a resolution,” Sajak tweeted. “I was getting dressed this morning, and I caught a glimpse of myself in the mirror — and I didn’t like what I saw! I’m beginning to let myself go. So that’s enough of that! Beginning in 2022, no more mirrors in our home.”

Considering his age and that he’s been hosting the show for almost 40 years, Sajak doesn’t look half bad. However, if his resolution is to get rid of all of his mirrors, more power to him. There are certainly stranger resolutions he could make.

As for his fans, they were very vocally in support of the television icon. One channeled Sajak’s dad humor, saying “good thing I’m not a mirror or you would have seven years of bad luck, cause that cracked me up!”

“I just tape over mirrors with posters of attractive people and BOOM!” another tweeted. Not only can I keep my mirrors, but I feel way better about myself.”

One user even went so far as to compliment Sajak: “I didn’t think you saw your reflection in a mirror. #agelesswonder.”
