Wheel of Fortune has been one of America’s favorite reality game shows since 1975. With 2021 being an incredible year, 2022 is going to be even better. But first, why did the show get rid of their spinning tiles? Will they bring them back in the future? Well, Pat Sajak has the perfect answer for you!

When Raven Symone appeared on the show, she said she missed the spinning tiles.

“I just want to start and say that I was a fan of the spinning tiles of the letters Vanna, just so you know,” Raven said in Wheel of Fortune’s Instagram post. “I want to see you spin one just for me.”

Pat Sajak chimes in with the reason they got rid of them.

“The problem is that she would complain about the workload,” Sajak said. “It was a whole lawsuit and it dragged through the courts.”

“Oh, I get that,” Raven replied. “I wrote in, though, Vanna. I was the one that wrote in and said ‘I missed the tiles’.”

As Raven reminisces on the tiles, Vanna just casually smiles.

Soon after, Pat Sajak asked her if she could put the heartbreak aside and spin the wheel. And the show carried on.

“Starting a petition to bring back the spinning tiles,” @celebritywheeloffortune writes in the caption earlier today.

Underneath the caption, a Wheel of Fortune fan touched on when the show had the puzzle board.

“Lol Raven. I remember when Vanna turned the letters. I was born in 1996 and I started watching wheel. For me personally, I liked when they debuted the touching puzzle board with the golden spikes. This puzzle board was my all time favorite.”
