“Wheel of Fortune” host Vanna White achieved her iconic status over the years for several reasons. Namely, because her fashion choices are always glamorous and impeccable.
For almost 40 years, White’s dazzled audiences with her timeless looks on stage. From floor-length ball gowns to printed midi dresses, the “Wheel of Fortune” host has rocked them all. And we got to see a peek at all the classy outfits White wore this week for the show’s return.
The show’s official Instagram page likes to post a slideshow of photos featuring White’s dresses for every episode that week. The 64-year-old looks as gorgeous as ever in every single one of them, but “Wheel of Fortune” still invites fans to tell them which look is their favorite in the comments.
“@officialvannawhite’s Dresses are back! 🤩 Tell us which look was your favorite from the first week of the new season!” the show captioned the post.
From the looks of it, White favored a shorter cut this week, around knee-length. She wore one full-length salmon-colored gown, one flowery print, two solid prints, and one A-line cut dress. Out of all the options, fans seemed to like the floral dress, A-line dress, and a solid-black dress the best.
If you look on the “Wheel of Fortune” website, you can even vote on your favorite look from that week! The poll will tell you which dress has the most votes so far and which doesn’t. The site even links to a Pinterest board full of Vanna’s 7,000 different looks.
That’s right: 7,000. White announced the number in a YouTube video last year after she was forced to wear a dress for the second time.
“Can you believe that for the first time ever I wore the same dress twice after 7,000 dresses? This is so 2020,” White said with a sigh.
‘Wheel of Fortune’ Hosts Renew Their Contracts until 2024
We can’t wait to see the dynamic duo continue to lead the iconic game show for another three years. But we’re also excited by some other changes happening on the “Wheel of Fortune” set as the game show starts up the latest season.
First, we’ll see more of announcer Jim Thornton. He’ll get his own on-stage podium now where he announces Sajak and White’s entrance. We’ll also see more of Sajak’s daughter, Maggie, who will be handling the website and social media from now on. And of course, we can’t miss the new set design and theme song change. The theme will return to “Changing Keys,” but with a more modern twist to it.
