Viral Bigfoot Video Has a Bunch of Experts Weighing in on Whether It’s Real or Not

A recent viral video has Bigfoot enthusiasts, experts, and skeptics scratching their heads trying to solve the sasquatch mystery.

Per The Daily Star’s reporting, the video out of Michigan has been watched over 600,000 times. In the video, viewers can see a “gorilla-like” animal crossing a river. Now people are weighing in on whether or not the strange sighting is the legendary Bigfoot, an ape on the run, or a man in a hairy ape costume.

After the video went viral, The Rocky Mountain Sasquatch Organization is now studying the clip. They hope to find the key to unlocking this mysterious creature in the woods.

Unfortunately, unlocking the secrets to this supposed Sasquatch is no easy feat (or feet?)

“I don’t know what it is, there are a lot more questions than answers. A lot of people think that it’s maybe someone with a mosquito net or a face covering,” a member of the group commented on the YouTube video. “There’s a side profile screenshot that plainly shows the nose exposed to the air, and it’s the same color as the rest of it.”

As with most Sasquatch sightings, the being is far enough away to allow for people’s minds to wander. As a result, pinning down the identity of the mysterious figure is more difficult from the start.

People Torn Over Michigan Bigfoot Sighting

“It may very well be a person. I hear people saying it’s someone in hip waders, I’ve never seen hip waders that go up over your head, I don’t know, maybe stretch em’ up over his face and head, and I don’t know how his big, old schnozz is still sticking out there on the side,” viewers can hear in a voiceover for the video. “Yeah, this is just really weird. Hope they’re not yanking our chain.”

Other internet sleuths also dropped their opinions into the matter, including a few who were torn 50/50 as to whether or not the creature was actually the legendary Bigfoot.

Additionally, some criticized the video, complaining that the videographer shot it on a cell phone at a terrible resolution, at a measly 30 frames per second.

The video in question comes out of Michigan and is only one of a few Bigfoot-related incidents in the area. Since its posting, the clip has been shared countless times on various social media platforms.

In addition, there are also recent reports in Mississippi where Walt Grayson allegedly heard a Bigfoot howl. Farther down south in Lakeland, Florida, there was another Bigfoot sighting. However, in Florida, they’re dubbing it as a “skunk ape.

“Florida has the third-largest number of sightings in the country, only behind California and Washington,” Marty Pippin, organizer of the Great Florida Bigfoot Conference, told WFLA.
