Fans of “Alaskan Bush People” continue to offer their appreciation and touching tributes to the show’s star, the late Billy Brown. Fans have taken to Brown’s official obituary on Legacy.com, writing messages of love and support for the Brown family.

For 12 seasons, Brown and his clan entertained and touched audiences everywhere. The family abandoned the norms and comfort of modern society to accomplish Brown’s dream of living free in the wild. Brown was the family’s patriarch and the heart and glue of both the show and the real life Brown family. Since his passing on Feb. 7, he’s been sorely missed.

On the obituary site, fans flooded Brown’s page with messages of love. One anonymous user wrote, “As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life’s routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends and many loving fans.

Another fan Pam commented, “Our prayers are with you all in this time of your life. Our prayers are also with Amy in hopes that her health will stay good in this hard times. We know that Billy will be in heaven waiting on your arrival when God is ready for any of you. We loved watching you show, we hope and pray that you all will keep the show going. Rest In Peace Mr Billy Brown, you will be missed greatly.”

Still another person, Ronnie Miller, wrote, “My deepest condolences to the Brown Family. Thank you for sharing your father with us! May GOD comfort you and give you STRENGTH to carry on.”

Billy Brown Passes Away

Brown reportedly passed away after having a seizure in his mountain home. In the days leading up to his death, Brown defied doctor’s orders to move to a lower elevation than the mountains. They said his current home was worsening his heart and could eventually kill him. But Brown was adamant not to leave the place that he had made home.

In the weeks prior, Brown had been in poor health with breathing problems related to his heart. His family managed to convince him to move his trailer home down the mountain to a lower elevation. But ultimately the gesture didn’t make a difference regarding his health.

Brown leaves behind a wide fanbase and a large and loving family. His legacy will live on in his family and the TV show “Alaskan Bush People” he helped create.
