Ami Brown spoke to police about Billy Brown’s death shortly after his passing on Feb. 7, according to ScreenRant. Since that time, the Brown family has remained fairly quiet as they continue to grieve for Billy. He was 68 years old at the time of his death.

Law Enforcement Looks Into Death of ‘Alaskan Bush People’ Father
According to the article, an officer investigating the death spoke to both Ami and the couple’s 31-year-old son, Gabe Brown. The officer wanted to learn about Billy’s health history. He also expressed his sympathies about Billy’s death to the family.
The coroner arrived at the Brown’s home and the officer shared the information he had gathered about the patriarch from his family with the coroner. The coroner also collected the prescriptions Billy was taking, according to the article.
It has also been reported that it was a member of the “Alaska Bush People” crew who called 911. The crew member received information from Bear Brown that his father had stopped breathing. Bear had tried to contact emergency services via 911, but was not able to get in touch.
Billy Brown was reportedly given CPR, but he did not respond. He was later pronounced dead. However, no foul play is suspected in his death.
Billy’s loss is a tragic one for the family at the center of the “Alaskan Bush People” show on the Discovery Channel. It was Billy who motivated the family to take on its unique way of living. The post shows Bear holding his son, River Anthony Brown. In the post, Bear wrote: “I’m glad my Dad got to meet my son, his grandson, I will always remember the twinkle in his eyes when he held him! Hold tight to your loved ones! You never know when it’s the last moment you’ll get with them!”
Fortunately, Billy Brown did have the opportunity to meet the little bundle of joy before his passing on Feb. 7.
