Winter will be here before most of us know it. But the change of season won’t be catching “Alaskan Bush People” star Matt Brown off guard anytime soon.
See, this 38-year-old son of the late Billy Brown and his wife, Ami Brown, is already making preparations for the upcoming colder temperatures. The winters are harsh where he lives. So, preparations are necessary to survive in those conditions.
In a social media post he shared on Wednesday, Oct. 27, this star of “Alaskan Bush People” showcased one winter preparation he has completed.
“Hi, friends. So, check it out. I just finished by sled,” Matt Brown said at the start of his latest Instagram post.
Next, the oldest son of Billy and Ami Brown described the work he did on his sled to make sure it will be ready for him to use when the show settles in.
“I have these holes here, so that I can tie to – to tie my stuff on to it. Then I ran the reins, the rope, from the side here – through this chain so it doesn’t get cut – to another chain on the front. Right, I did that on both sides so that it will pull evenly,” Matt Brown also shared.
According to what Matt also shared on Wednesday, he is expecting the snow to arrive very soon. “I was looking at the mountain earlier today and it already has snow on it. So, I’ll be able to put this baby to use pretty soon,” he shared.
Like he often does in his social media posts, the “Alaskan Bush People” star also shared kind words for his fans and followers. “I hope everybody is doing well out there. As always, God and Jesus bless us all,” Matt Brown said.

‘Alaskan Bush People’ Star Matt Brown Recently Showcased Another Valued Item
His new sled isn’t the only possession “Alaskan Bush People” star Matt Brown has recently showcased on social media. Previously during October 2021, he showed off his “recording studio.”
“This is my video setup,” he said during another Instagram video. “These are my SD cards. This is my SD card for my trail camera here. Here’s my computer that I do all my editing on.”
In this same video, Brown also talked about the upcoming winter season.
“Here in my little home, as winter’s coming and it’s getting cold outside, everything – like myself – we’re kind of like starting to huddle in for the winter, right,” he explained. “So, the house is warm; it’s nice. It’s a little chilly outside. At night it starts getting cold.”
