Despite going through some family controversy, former Alaskan Bush People star Matt Brown is still able to appreciate a beautiful day outdoors.

As the oldest of the seven Brown children, the 37-year-old has been extremely active on his Instagram account as of late. That is, whenever he can find some cell phone service to do so.

So far throughout the month of April, Matt Brown has taken to social media to admit dealing with some personal issues, as well as “other truths” about his family business. However, even in navigating through some dark times, Matt Brown is always able to find a little bit of light. That was the case yet again on Saturday afternoon when the former Alaskan Bush People actor posted his latest selfie out in the wilderness.

“It sure is a beautiful day! Praze Jesus :)” Brown wrote alongside his most recent photo.

Meanwhile, Alaskan Bush People fans have also made it a priority to help Brown get through. One follower of his left a thoughtful message in the comments section of his latest post.

“It’s lovely to see all these pictures Matt! You are indeed blessed, there’s nothing they comes near being at one with Nature and appreciating this Earth that God gave us, keep up the good work! 💓👍😊🏕🌲🌹”

Former ‘Alaskan Bush People’ Star Admits ‘Truth’ in Recent Video

For the fans out there who haven’t been following the situation, let’s start from the beginning.

Nearly a week ago, Matt Brown posted a nearly 10-minute video on his Instagram page where he slams his late father, Alaskan Bush People patriarch Billy Brown. Filming the eerie video late at night and in the woods with little light, Matt Brown admitted that he was “cold” and that he “didn’t have any money. “

In the shocking video, Brown says that his esteemed father perhaps wasn’t the man that everyone made him out to be. The 37-year-old revealed that his dad took all of the money that the family earned from their show.

“We made a lot of money off of the show,” Brown says. “But because my dad controlled everything, all of the money went to him… I didn’t have any money or anything. My dad kept that all.”
