The “Alaskan Bush People” family is celebrating Mother’s Day with Ami Brown. However, the Brown family is still grieving over the loss of their father, Billy Brown, who passed away in February.

Over the past few months, members of the family have been active on social media to give life updates and share memories of Billy Brown.

Bear Brown has been one of the most active on social media. In fact, he shared the news of his father’s passing on his Instagram account.

Bear Brown Tribute to Ami Brown

Today, he took the time to honor his mother during a very difficult year for the Brown family. He wrote on his private Instagram, “Today is Mother’s Day!!! I’m lucky to still have my mom! This has been the most difficult year for all of us, but especially for my mom, she lost her true love, in over 40 years they had never been apart and still my mom is looking out for us, consoling us, her kids! I have never seen such strength!!!”

Ami and Billy Brown were married in 1979. She was only 15 years old at the time and he was 26. Apparently, Ami’s mother wanted her to finish school before the two got married. Once the wedding was finalized, she cut ties with her family. Billy Brown was 68 when he passed away.

According to Survivornet, Ami Brown has also battled with her own health issues over the years. She is a stage three lung cancer survivor. She was diagnosed in 2017. The family actually moved from where they supposedly resided in Alaska to Washington. This is so the “Alaskan Bush People” family could be close to medical facilities if needed.

“Being a mother is one of the hardest things a woman can do and my hat goes off to all moms the whole world round! Truly without such strong women, virtually giving up there whole lives for someone else, the world would not be what it is, a mother teaches us to share to be kind and polite, to have manners and to treat people right, mothers shape the future and the very world around us! No one gives as much as a mother! Happy Mother’s Day Mom! Without you I wouldn’t be me!” Bear Brown added.

Bear Brown became a father on March 9, 2020, when his son River was born. He had to wait months to see his newborn son due to COVID-19 safety regulations. His former girlfriend, Raiven Adams, is the mother. He also wished her a happy Mother’s Day and said she is doing an “amazingly awesome job.”

The two recently announced that they were no longer together. Their whirlwind relationship has started and ended on several occasions, but this split seems to be more final. They got back together most recently when Raiven brought River to visit Bear for the first time.

“The Alaskan Bush People” family is made up of seven kids. The family now also has three grandchildren. Noah Brown and Rhain Alisha Brown had Elijah Connor Brown together. He was born on February 26, 2019. Gabe and Raquell Brown had their daughter Sophie in November of 2019.
