Alaskan Bush People stars Bear Brown and Raiven Adams are looking to help someone who has given back to their community to celebrate the holidays this year. The couple is wrapping up the newest season just in time to spread some holiday cheer.

Fans of the series have followed the Brown sibling’s journeys as they each found their significant others through the years. Bear met Raiven back in August of 2018 at Noah Brown’s wedding where Raiven was the wedding photographer. Bear and Raiven were officially together starting in July 2019 and engaged by August of the same year. Unfortunately, the two called off their engagement shortly thereafter in September. This was only the first of many break-ups to come. However, they were ultimately able to work out their dissimilarities and are now parents to a beautiful little boy named River.

Bear and Raiven Callout for Nominations

The Alaska Bush People couple took to TikTok to announce their plan for celebrating the holidays this year. The cute video features an arrangement of the classic “Holly Jolly Christmas” song playing in the background. Bear and Raiven asked followers to nominate someone special in a comment on the TikTok video.

The cheery video starts with Bear grinning behind Raiven while she playfully dances along to the holiday song. They hope to choose a winner and deliver an array of presents and gifts specifically meant for them while also learning some important information along the way.

So far, the video has amassed over 6,000 views and a whopping 800 comments by fans. Fans of the couple are excited for a chance to win something special from the stars.

Honoring ‘Alaskan Bush People’s Billy Brown

In the most recent season of Alaskan Bush People, the camera crew followed Bear to meet his son on the Washington mountain. It’s been a difficult season following the loss of the show’s patriarch, Billy Brown. Brown passed away in February 2021 after suffering a seizure. He was 68.

“We are devastated to hear of Billy Brown’s sudden passing. He has been part of the Discovery family for years — a trailblazer, a lovely man, and most definitely one of a kind,” a Discovery rep wrote on Twitter. “Our heart is with his family and those that knew him and loved him as they deal with this devastating loss.”

Bear Brown wrote on Instagram, “We are heartbroken to announce that our beloved patriarch Billy Brown passed away last night after suffering from a seizure. He was our best friend — a wonderful and loving dad, granddad and husband and he will be dearly missed. He lived his life on his terms, off the grid, and off the land and taught us to live like that as well. We plan to honor his legacy going forward and to continue with his dream. We ask for privacy and prayers during this painful time! God bless everyone!”

Following the beloved stars passing, the Brown family is working hard to complete Billy’s goal of creating a self-sustainable ranch.

Together, Bear and Raiven are looking to help someone else who has also had a rough year this year.
