Here is why fans of Alaskan Bush People are concerned about Bear Brown following his Father’s Day post.

In February, the Alaskan Bush People patriarch, Billy Brown, unfortunately, and suddenly died at the age of 68. According to the Sun, on a Sunday afternoon, Billy Brown suffered a fatal seizure. His 33-year-old son, Bear Brown, called 911 around 4:13 p.m. Bear reported that his father was “not breathing.”

By the time officials arrived on the scene, Billy Brown was already dead.

Two of Billy’s sons, Noah and Bear Brown, broke the news of the reality stars passing on social media.

“We are heartbroken to announce that our beloved patriarch Billy Brown passed away last night after suffering from a seizure,” the brothers wrote in February. “He was our best friend – a wonderful and loving dad, granddad, and husband, and he will be dearly missed. He lived his life on his terms, off the grid, and off the land and taught us to live like that as well. We plan to honor his legacy going forward and to continue with his dream.”

Father’s Day for Bear Brown

Naturally, Father’s Day was hard for the Brown family since this was their first one without Billy. Bear Brown has always been very forthcoming with his feelings and the struggles he faced during his grieving process. The reality television star has also been dealing with an up and down relationship with his ex Raiven Adams and their one-year-old child, River.

On June 20, the holiday brought Bear to social media to pay tribute to his late father. His Instagram account is private, but this was his emotional message.

“I’d like to wish everyone a Happy Dad’s day! Today is not an easy day for me, this is the first Dad’s day that I don’t have my dad with me! I know he is watching us from heaven, I just wish he was still here, so I could see him and tell him how much I love him, and I wish I could hear his voice and his laugh! I am a dad myself now, but all I can think of today is how much I miss my Da! Hold tight to those you love, you never know when it’s the [last] time you see them. I miss you Da, Happy Dad’s Day! I love you more!”

The post also featured a smiling photo of Billy, who was sporting a grey NASA t-shirt.

Cryptic Social Media Posts

While Bear Brown’s upload was touching, it made Alaskan Bush People concerned. That worry heightened when Brown shared a photo of a dead plant with the cryptic message that reads, “How I feel.”

Fans of Bear and the Discovery series flooded in to offer support to the mourning star.

“Resilient and strong! Where there is life growing in a hard world, there will always be hope,” one fan wrote. “What I see in this picture is how strong that little plant is to overcome the odds, and you are the same. You’re resilient and will continue to grow no matter how difficult it may be, stand strong proud and, continue to be you and keep fighting the good fight. God bless you,” another added.
