Big golf clap for Alec Baldwin and his marketing for his new movie, Boss Baby: Family Business.
Get this: the actor and his wife, Hilaria, brought all six of their kids to the movie premiere Tuesday night and dressed them up like baby bosses. It’s just too cute. The Baldwins dressed in black suits, white shirts, and dark silk ties and all walked the red carpet together. A couple of the boys also sported classic Aviator sunglasses. Hilaria changed up her look a bit, loosening the tie and sporting sharp-toed stilettos. Baby Lucia also sported a black bow headband. You can’t all be matchy, matchy without looking contrived.
Reportedly, all six kids behaved. And that’s a tall task for Alec Baldwin and his wife. The children are all under age seven.
Meanwhile, Alec Baldwin dropped some major personal details on the podcast he shares with his wife. It’s called What’s One More. Baldwin said he’s suffered from obsessive-compulsive disorder for the past several years. He had comedian Howie Mandel and Mandel’s wife on to discuss Mandel’s struggle with the illness.
Before Premiere, Alec Baldwin Revealed He Suffers From OCD
“OCD is something I personally struggle with,” said Alec Baldwin, who is 63. “I’m grateful to Howie for opening up at a time when few people were talking about this publicly, and there was even more of a stigma about OCD and mental health than there is today. It’s through empathy, understanding and being kinder to one another, that we can finally remove the stigma and change the narrative.”
Alec Baldwin also asked Mandel about how he discovered he was suffering from OCD.
“Is germaphobia the only way that that OCD was expressed, and what was the beginnings of when you started to track that and sense that?” Alec Baldwin asked Mandel. “Because I’m going through this myself now. I am, like really seriously.”
Hilaria then told her husband: “It was through opening up about my miscarriages with you that I learned the healing power of: I’m not in this alone. I’m proud of you, Alec, for having the bravery to do the same with your struggles with OCD,” she wrote. “It is through opening up that we allow others the opportunity to understand us better, support us better, and potentially be inspired to open up as well.”
Baldwin, while struggling with OCD, also has been able to finish off projects. Boss Baby: Family Business is a sequel to the 2017 computer-animated movie, Boss Baby. The movie grossed more than $525 million worldwide. Baldwin is the voice of baby Ted Templeton Jr. He drinks a special baby formula that gives him the mind of a high-powered adult businessman.
Moreover, Alec Baldwin reprises his role in the sequel. Other stars who voice roles in the movie include James Marsden, Amy Sedaris, Eva Longoria, Jeff Goldblum, Lisa Kudrow and Jimmy Kimmel.
