American Pickers star Danielle Colby shared an insightful social media post.

The reality personality shared a photo of her posing in her own garden. She shared the snapshot on social media on Monday, August 16. She tagged her location as Puerto Rico.

“It’s time for a little Motivational Monday,” she captioned the shot. “Today we’re talking about growing your own food and why it’s so important for autonomy. Especially here on the island, having personal agency over how and what you eat is power. Head to my Patreon to read more, including some of my own gardening tips and tricks.”

‘American Pickers’ Controversy

Danielle Colby addressed the recent departure of Frank Fritz. She shared a post on social media regarding Fritz. Colby explained that the reason she spoke out about the American Pickers drama was because of media and fan speculation.

“I’m truly saddened for the loss of Frank on the show. I’m incredibly sad for his struggles. I’ve personally watched everything over the last decade,” she wrote. “I have many thoughts but won’t speak them as they are only my thoughts, not gospel. I wish things could have been different but we must be accountable for our actions when we cause instability or pain and suffering to others.”

Fritz told The Sun that he has sought help for alcoholism and that he is now sober. He also recovered from extensive back surgery from the constant heavy lifting. Colby and the show had backlash from fans to not allow Fritz back on the show.

Fritz and Mike Wolfe apparently had a falling out. Fritz revealed that Wolfe hasn’t contacted him in two years, even to check on him after his health battle. Additionally, he believes that Wolfe’s brother will replace him on the show.

He claimed that in the last several years, there weren’t many nice comments made from Wolfe about Fritz. Fritz believed that his Instagram post sending Fritz off the show was performative and that they haven’t known each other for as long as Wolfe claims that they have. Despite the apparent limelight struggle, Wolfe said that he would have loved to return to the show.

“Frank caused so much pain for himself that it has been hard to watch,” Colby added. “I truly hope Frank receives all the help he needs to become well after years of being unwell. It is not my place to speak Ill of someone who needs help so I will keep my comments uplifting.”

Colby recently had to silence her critics by turning off comments on her Instagram posts dealing with the show.
