Are you a fan of American Pickers? Well, one of the stars of the show, Danielle Colby, is asking for you to help one of her close friends.

Danielle Colby has been a star on the History Channel series, American Pickers since its debut back in 2010. You may recognize Colby as the inked-up girl who works in the office of the antique shop Antique Archaeology. As of right now, they are currently in production of the show’s 11th year.

But there is more on the mind of the American Pickers star than just the show. In fact, she recently took to social media to ask her fans and followers to help out a close friend.

“Hello everyone! As many of you know, Carlos here is one of the kindest, most generous, loving people in the whole world. He’s one of the reasons that Jeremy and I came out to Puerto Rico,” Colby began her post. “After Hurricane Maria hit the island, helpers were needed so desperately and Carlos was one of the first to lend a hand. That’s how his spirit is. He’s always running around the island and doing everything he can for those in need.”

Colby explains that her friend Carlos’ truck is not in very good shape. And that it is in need of some serious repairs so he can get back to doing what he does best — helping people.

“It’s now our turn to help him,” the American Pickers star states. “His truck, that was so generously donated to him by Jake Burton, is in need of some repair. Jake was a kindred spirit to Carlos in that way. I miss him dearly. Right now, Carlos needs our help to continue on with that mission of altruism.”

‘American Pickers’ Star Gives Her Fans an Incentive to Donate

Danielle Colby is most definitely a savvy businesswoman. We know that from her time on American Pickers but she also shows that same quality in real life. In asking for help for her friend Carlos, she made sure to let her fans know that this isn’t a one-sided affair. For anyone who donates to the cause, she will be sending them something special.

“We have already paid to have it fixed once, but unfortunately, the repairs were not executed properly. Right now, if you donate $25 or more to the gofundme for him I will send a hand signed, exclusive photo to you as a thank you for putting a little love back in the world.”

If you have any interest in helping out Danielle Colby, she left clear instructions on what to do.

“You can get to it by clicking the linktree in my bio or searching for ‘Relief Truck Repairs for Carlos’ on the gofundme website. Make sure to use the ‘contact organizer’ section to send your mailing information to us so we can get you your photo!”
