The History Channel reality show “American Pickers” has had a good run so far. Since it premiered in 2010, the show has crisscrossed the country searching for antiques and discarded treasures in junkyards, basements, garages and barns.
But did longtime “American Pickers” star Danielle Colby show up in the most recent episode?
The short answer is yes. The Season 22 premiere (available to watch here) featured Colby, but it did not include Frank Fritz, who appears to have left the show for good due to his health issues and a falling out with Mike Wolfe.
‘American Pickers’ Star Recently Got Engaged
After divorcing her second husband, Alexandre De Meyer, in 2015, Colby got engaged in December to her boyfriend Jeremy Scheuch.
The Sun obtained divorce records from 2015 showing that De Meyer sought “temporary maintenance,” also called spousal support or alimony. He also petitioned for coverage of legal fees.
Colby had reportedly been dating Scheuch for more than six years before they got engaged. In an unconventional move, the tattooed burlesque star proposed to Scheuch rather than waiting for him to ask her.
“I did a thing!” the “American Pickers” star posted on social media this past December. “After almost 6 long years, I finally made an honest man out of my king @jscheuch feel free to head over to Patreon and watch the proposal video for yourself, I actually proposed to him on my birthday while we were filming my birthday burlesque show!”
“I put a cute little clip up on Patreon for everybody to see for free,” she went on. “Come celebrate our ridiculous stupid outrageous over the top love with us feel free to leave a nice little message of support or if you have any questions, I’ll do my best to answer them on my Patreon. Long live love f**k everything else.”
Colby divorced her first husband, Chad Cushman, in 2012. She has a son and a daughter with Cushman.
Mike Wolfe Is Also Divorcing
Colby is not the only one to have experienced some turbulence in her personal life lately. “American Pickers” star Mike Wolfe is divorcing his wife after almost 10 years of marriage.
Meanwhile, Wolfe is currently dating Leticia Cline of the WB show “Beauty and the Geek.”
Wolfe got drawn into a bit of a controversy recently when his departed co-star Fritz made it known that Wolfe hasn’t said a peep to him through his recent health troubles.
“I haven’t talked to Mike in two years,” Fritz told the Sun. “He knew my back was messed up, but he didn’t call me up and ask how I was doing. That’s just how it is.”
So, all told, there’s a fair amount of behind-the-scenes drama on the show. But “American Pickers” is nonetheless continuing its long run as Season 22 gets underway.
