Gearing up for another episode of “American Pickers?” The latest episode is available for streaming. And, like always, it looks like the Wolfe brothers are in for some pretty awesome finds in the “American Pickers” season twenty-three episode.

This week, “American Pickers” host Mike Wolfe and his brother, Robbie, are all about the antique wheels in the August 23 episode. First, the Wolfe brothers tour an enormous West Virginia homestead.

This takes the “American Pickers” hosts to an ideal tour site for antique lovers – an antique auto showroom.

Once the “American Pickers” are done in West Virginia, the brothers visit Texas where they meet with an ex-drag racer.

The racer has contacted the “American Pickers” hosts about a unique “petroliana” collection. The collection includes a variety of antique collectibles related to gas stations and many things related to the petroleum industry; such as old gas pumps, old advertisements, signs, oil cans, and road maps.

A New Look On ‘American Pickers’

Earlier this summer, it was announced that the popular show would have a new look when it returned for the show’s twenty-third season.

In July “American Pickers” host and original creator made a public announcement that his longtime cohost, Frank Fritz would not be returning in the upcoming season of the History Channel show.

The news was shocking to “American Pickers” fans. As a result, a scandal quickly grew as Mike Wolfe and his former partner both shared very different sides to the same story.

The issues started when Frank Fritz left the show temporarily to undergo back surgery. This surgery left Fritz laid up with two rods in his spine and nearly 200 stitches.

It has since come out that Frank Fritz was also struggling with addiction battles. Part of the reason why he has been absent from “American Pickers” episodes for quite some time now.

An Unexpected Seperation

A few weeks before the premiere, the show’s host Mike Wolfe took to Instagram to share the news that Frank would no longer be a part of the popular History Channel show.

In the post, Mike Wolfe captioned the photo with a message about his time hosting “American Pickers” with Fritz and how this new development will change the popular television show.

“I have known Frank for as long as I can remember, he’s been like a brother to me,” the host wrote. “The journey that Frank, Dani, and I started back in 2009, like all of life, has come with its highs and lows, blessings and challenges, but it has also been the most rewarding.”

The long post concluded with a heartfelt message to Mike Wolfe’s former cohost.

“I will miss Frank, just like all of you,” the host said. “I pray for the very best and all good things for him on the next part of his journey.”

Robbie Wolfe, Mike Wolfe’s brother has stood in with Mike as cohost on “American Pickers.”

Over the years, Robbie has appeared on the hit television series multiple times.

Robbie Wolfe owns his own landscaping company called RJ Wolfe & Sons. The elder Wolfe brother and “American Pickers” host has operated the business for over 20 years.
