It’s been more than a year since former “American Pickers” costar Frank Fritz appeared on the History Channel show. Now, months after he and Mike Wolfe‘s media feud recessed from headlines, “American Pickers'” Danielle Colby has thrown shade Fritz’s way.
Currently, it appears Mike Wolfe and Frank Fritz both have, for the most part, moved on from their earlier feud. However, following a recent conversation, Colby remains infuriated by Fritz’s “dramatic exit” from the show. She previously shared during an appearance on “The Sailor Jerry Podcast” that the entertainment industry, within which the star has fully immersed herself, has left her peers with enlarged “egos.”
Specifically, she stated, “In the entertainment industry, that ego gets so real so fast.”
Further, the “American Pickers” star has quite the busy lifestyle. She juggles passions between her career alongside Mike Wolfe on “American Pickers,” her intrigue with vintage burlesque style, and her life in Puerto Rico. Therefore, it’s interesting Colby continues to reflect on the egos of her contemporaries.
Further, according to The Sun, Colby’s comments remained undirected at any particular individuals. However, following earlier statements regarding the “American Pickers” star’s former cohost, Frank Fritz, there would be no surprise if she was referencing the ex-picker.
Frank Fritz on the Rise After ‘American Pickers’
Frank Fritz’ official end on “American Pickers” came via a July post from the show’s headlining star, Mike Wolfe. His sentimental post tributes Fritz as he stated, “I pray for the very best and all good things for [Frank] on the next part of his journey.”
Simultaneously, Fritz accused Wolfe of putting up a front. After the post went public, the former “American Pickers” cohost said, “I haven’t talked to Mike in two years.”
Nevertheless, he added he was fine with his background place within the show. He additionally claimed that while he had no issue, perhaps Wolfe did.
Fritz departure from the show came at the hands of COVID-19, a back injury, and a long battle with alcohol addiction. Now, however, the former “American Pickers” cohost has revealed he’s in a pretty positive place. After 65 pounds lost and 11 months sober as of July, he revealed ambitions about upstarting his own show.
He previously told The Sun following his “American Pickers” departure, “I could go either way and find a new show.”
