Former American Pickers star Frank Fritz had to reportedly shut down his business FFF Holdings, LLC years before he was let go from the show by the History Channel network.
According to the Sun, the business license for the former American Pickers co-host was actually dissolved in December 2017, nearly four years before the History Channel fired him off the show. The Fans Fritz Finds (FFF) company was started in July 2010. However, while Fritz currently doesn’t have an active business license, his Savanna, Illinois Frank Fritz Finds is still up and running.
Frtiz was on American Pickers from 2010 until 2021. He starred alongside Mike Wolfe and Danielle Colby. Fritz revealed in an interview last month that he left the show due to COVID, a back injury, and alcohol addiction. He has since recovered from his back surgery and went to rehab for his addiction. Fritz also says he wanted to return to the American Pickers despite an apparent feud with Wolfe.
Wolfe & Colby React to Fritz Leaving History Channel’s ‘American Pickers’
In a recent Instagram post, Wolfe shared he was disappointed about Fritz’s departure from the series. “I have known Frank for as long as I can remember. He’s been like a brother to me,” Wolfe writes. He also says that the journey that he, Frank, and Dani started in 2009 has come with its highs and lows. Along with blessings and challenges.
“The support that you all have given us has been a constant reminder of what the show’s message has always been,” The American Pickers star continues. “Thru these places, people, and things we all have a common thread. We’re here to not only take of the past but also each other.”
Wolfe writes he will miss his American Pickers co-star. He says just like the fans, he will pray for the very best and all good things for Frank on the next part of his journey. Colby also shared her support for Wolfe by stating, “I’m proud of how you have handled the last 12 years. And look forward to many more years of rolling around this big blue marble together.”
Fritz, on the other hand, called the statement “bullish—“ in a recent interview with the Sun. He also believes someone else wrote the statement for Mike. Fritz previously claimed that he hasn’t spoken to Wolfe in more than two years. He alleged the American Pickers co-host never actually called to check up on him following his back surgery.
What’s Next Fritz Following ‘American Pickers’ Departure?
Fritz reveals to the Sun his future plans after his American Pickers departure. “I could go either way and find a new show. Have something new, and have a bit of fun,” Fritz explains.
The former American Pickers star also says that he’s in a “mode” right now to get picked up for a new show. “I’m in the positive now where if there was a show or something, they could pick me up. They know I can work 15 hours a day. They know I can work seven days a week.”
