Mike Wolfe of “American Pickers” shares a festive image of his classic car on Instagram. It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas.
Thanksgiving is over and the Christmas decorations are already coming out! Lights are being untangled and wreaths are being hung on front doors. “American Pickers” star Mike Wolfe is getting into the holiday spirit as well. He shares the festivities with his followers on Instagram.
His latest post shows his 1959 El Camino decked out for the season. The car is an orange hue and shines in the sunlight. There is a bright green wreath with a red ribbon bow sitting on the vehicle’s hood. It is definitely a festive sight to see!
My favorite part of the image is Wolfe’s dog sitting in the driver’s seat. His dog Francis is beloved by fans, and looks happy that he’s getting ready for the holidays. Fans are commenting with their thoughts about the picture.
“Beautiful! My favorite color,” one fan writes. There really is something beautiful about the green wreath against the sunburnt orange car. With his car, his family, and Francis as his partner in crime, fans are excited to see how the “American Picker” star continues to celebrate the holidays.
Mike Wolfe on Cars and Motorcycles
This picker is no stranger to classic cars. Wolfe is known for finding treasures at old car shops. Wolfe buys everything from Nash Healey convertibles to Auto Red Bugs from the 1920s. He sees their historic value, as well as their beauty. Mike’s brother Robert shares this admiration for classic cars. He specifically looks for unique vehicles to restore and sell.
Fans of “American Pickers” know that Mike Wolfe also loves motorcycles. His Instagram profile is flooded with bike pictures, and fans enjoy seeing his passion for them on television as well. He enjoys the freedom and spontaneity bikes offer. He collects them in his own Nashville warehouse! These include mountain bikes.
“You can go anywhere you want to, unlike a road bike which limits you to a strip of asphalt,” Wolfe says. “Mountain bikes have the ability to steer you off well-worn routes allowing you to call the shots for where you ride next.”
Will more classic vehicles be discovered on Season 23 of “American Pickers?” Will fans see more of Wolfe’s El Camino over the holidays? Whatever the case, it is nice to see the picker’s passion for what he does.
“It’s not just about selling stuff, it’s about creating a world and inviting you in,” he says. “It takes time to keep it fresh, so that’s an ongoing effort.”
