If it wasn’t for Danielle Colby, American Pickers just wouldn’t be the same. That’s why she’s getting birthday wishes and love on social media.

Arguably, Colby has never been more important to the show than she has been the last two years. With the fallout of Frank Fritz and Mike Wolfe, she has taken on a bigger role. Fritz has not been with the show for a while now.

However, all that aside, today is about celebrating Colby and all she does on American Pickers. The post showed her in her usual pinup look hanging out the window of an old pickup truck.

“Happy Birthday to our self-proclaimed “Queen of Rust” @daniellecolbyamericanpicker!” The post read.

Of course, there were many happy birthday messages in the replies. Fans are quick to shower Colby with praise for all the things she does on the show. In the early years, she was finding leads. Then she started filtering through all of the ones the store would get through email and phone calls. Now, she is a full-fledged picker and has bought plenty of great items on the road.

The American Pickers star took time to enjoy her birthday early as well.

Danielle Colby Floated into Her Birthday Week

With this being her birthday week, Colby made sure to show out for her special day. She is known for her eccentric outfit and costumes. It appears she made sure to wow her fans on Instagram. She posted a video of herself floating in water. In what looked like a goldfish costume with a headpiece and of course, jewelry.

“Floating into my birthday week!” she said. “What’s your favorite way to celebrate your birthday?”

With her passion for burlesque, it is not a rare thing to see her post videos and pictures like this. She is always finding old retro outfits and putting together different pieces here and there. It makes for some very interesting looks.

Another passion of hers? Dog rescue, of course!

This birthday week also coincided with some special days earlier in the week. On Giving Tuesday, the first Tuesday after Thanksgiving, she encouraged fans to make an effort to help an animal in need. She shared information from Barks of Hope. They will help dogs find forever homes and help with spays and neuters.

The American Pickers star has a big heart, that is clear. She has a lot of things going on with the TV show, the Antique Archaeology store, her hobbies, and more. So, taking the time to bring awareness to such a great cause, that just adds to her coolness.
