America’s Got Talent: Extreme just faced disaster when daredevil Jonathan Goodwin’s stunt went horribly wrong. Goodwin, whose one of the many contestants hoping to win the first season of the spinoff, wound up severely injured. Now, a shocking video has emerged of the event.

People confirmed that the stunt performer got seriously injured in the accident. America’s Got Talent: Extreme is a spin-off series that’s been filming. The accident occurred during a rehearsal round. NBC has described the new spinoff as “the most outrageous, unique and jaw-dropping acts of enormous scale and magnitude that simply cannot be confined to a theater stage.”
But unfortunately, these acts come with extreme risk. Goodwin’s previous stunts on AGT have gone off without a hitch. But carefully coordinated escapes like this need perfect execution every single time or disaster will strike.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to him and his family as we await further updates on his condition.”
The ‘America’s Got Talent: Extreme’ Stunt Involved Two Suspended cars and a Straightjacket
Goodwin planned an ‘America’s Got Talent: Extreme’ stunt to wow the audience. According to TMZ, who first reported the incident, Goodwin suspended in the air at 70 feet up in a straight jacket and hung from his feet by some wire.
