They may be getting the gang back together for “Jackass 4” later this year for one last hurray. But it looks like they’ll be minus one, Bam Margera.

According to TMZ, production has fired the “Jackass” star. Reportedly, Margera was let go due to his numerous addiction problems and bad behavior on set. In a series of since-deleted Instagram videos, Margera first broke the news of tensions on set. The set appeared to be under the influence and claimed he had been let go from production. For instance, Margera vomited at one point and appeared emotional.

“Who the f–k cares if I’m drunk as hell or not anymore? ‘Jackass’ has put me through f–king hell on fucking wheels for the past year and a half,” Margera said during the video. He also claimed that Paramount started regulating his medications. Production also subjected him to breathalyzer and urine tests to ensure his sobriety.

The “Jackass” star also urged his fans to send him money via Venmo and implied that he considered hanging himself. “‘Jackass’ does not care about me, ladies and gentlemen,” Margera said.

Bam Margera Struggles with Addiction

In a later video, Margera insisted that it was a misunderstanding regarding his firing. He also claimed that he had bipolar disorder and was going through an episode. He implied he would be in the film after all. “It’s going to be f–king awesome, and it’s going to be in a way where everyone wins in the end. So I love everybody,” he said.

But according to TMZ, that doesn’t appear to be the case. Production let Margera go because he failed to abide by his contract, which included the condition of staying sober. At one point, Margera reportedly went missing from the sent. Sources say he went and checked himself into a rehab facility in Florida.

It’s currently unknown if Margera filmed any scenes for the film prior to his firing or if those scenes will be included. Margera first rose to prominence in the early 2000s as part of the “Jackass” crew. He also starred in his own spin-off “Viva La Bam” as well. Margera was known for his partying antics and various pranks.

But over the years, his drinking and substance abuse have turned into an addiction. In recent years, the star has reportedly been spiraling, his condition worsened by the death of his best friend Ryan Dunn in 2011.
