Big Bang Theory’s Kaley Cuoco Previews New Self-Produced Show, ‘The Flight Attendant’

The latest bang to come out of the Kaley Cuoco camp is a new show that’s ready to take flight. “The Flight Attendant” was grounded during the pandemic, but is now ready for streaming next month.

This year hasn’t completely slowed down Kaley Cuoco. She and her production company Yes, Norman Productions are sharing her newest, live-action TV show “The Flight Attendant.” This new series was one of the first productions to resume with pandemic safety precautions.

Cuoco jokingly told the LA Times that she hopes it doesn’t take a year to shoot something like this again. She also said, “Some people are gonna love it, some people are gonna hate it — like, I know that’s gonna happen. My whole career has prepared me for that. But I love TV, I grew up on TV. And I can go to bed knowing I made the best show possible, and that thrills me.”

In addition to the announcement, the former “Big Bang Theory” actress posted a photo on Instagram in mid-October. The post shares a poster designed for “The Flight Attendant.”

The first three episodes of “The Flight Attendant” are set to stream on Thanksgiving Day. Moreover, the limited series can be found on HBOMax.

More About ‘The Flight Attendant’

The limited-series “The Flight Attendant” is based on the premise of Chris Bohjalian’s bestselling book. Kaley Cuoco plays Cassie, a flight attendant that loves adventure and, well alcohol.

Amidst her travels, one morning she wakes up next to a dead body. Not having any memory from the night before, Cassie obviously starts asking what happened, what did she do, and why is this happening to her.

Cuoco’s joined onscreen by Rosie Perez, Michael Huisman, and Merle Dandridge – just to name a few of the cast members. She’s already working on her next project: a live-action Apple TV+ comedy series called “America’s Sweetheart.”
