Well, you can do so right now as the ABC drama’s initial season can be seen on Hulu. Take a look at this clip from the show’s Twitter account and get ready to catch up.
“Big Sky” is a show by David E. Kelley. He has a history of creating a number of solid shows. Among his shows are “Doogie Howser, M.D.”, “Boston Legal,” “Picket Fences,” and “Chicago Hope.”
Now during its initial season, there were times where the show’s ratings were not too strong. But ABC did hold on to the drama and its numbers were better as the first season ended. There are storylines that will be carrying over to the second season.
‘Big Sky’ Will Have a New Regular Character as Part of Its Cast
The show is based around Kylie Bunbury [Cassie Dewell] and Katheryn Winnick [Jenny Hoyt] in their “Big Sky” characters started searching for two sisters kidnapped as part of a smuggling ring. That did get resolved in the first season, but Jennie and Cassie are going to search for truck driver Ronald Pergman [played by Brian Geraghty].
He is the main culprit and that’s going to be part of a new mystery on the ABC show. That second season will start up on Sept. 30.
When the show returns, Outsiders will have another full-time regular on the show. Omar Metwally [U.S. Marshal Mark Lindor] will return as a series regular on “Big Sky”.
TVLine reveals that Metwally’s character (spoiler alert) is left for dead in the season finale. But he will be making a return. Metwally is best known for his role as Dr. Vik Ullah on the Showtime series “The Affair.”
ABC Drama’s Stars Talk About Favorite Moments From First 5 Episodes
Winnick and Bunbury revealed their favorite moments from season 1 in a Twitter video.
“Big Sky” ended up being ABC’s 4th most popular drama after its first season.
“I think it has to be when Jenny goes undercover,” Winnick said. In the scene, Jenny goes undercover as a sex worker to try and find a criminal who is targeting sex workers. When the scene ends, Jenny is fighting off a man trying to attack her.
“The lashes and the cute little number and the high heels and gets a chance to fight in high heels,” Winnick said.
Bunbury said, “My favorite scene in the first five episodes would definitely have to be my showdown with Rick Legarski.”
Cassie shoots Rick Legarski [John Carroll Lynch] in an incredibly intense moment. Legarski is a dirty Montana Highway Patrol officer who also ends up being Ronald’s accomplice.
